Here’s a little zen thought for you all on this Wednesday evening: Sometimes it’s okay to give up on people. If being close to them makes you feel unworthy of yourself, they are not worth it. I have been much happier since I learned this lesson, but every once in a while I need to give myself a reminder.

Laura Carmichael wore some of Meryl Streep’s clothes from Out of Africa in season 2 of Downton Abbey. Excuse me while I go die at how this is basically confirmation that the universe just likes to do random shit that I will think is amazing and no one will understand why.
